Being in the country there are certain things that we all live with.
If you are looking to purchase a country property there are a couple of facts that need to be addressed.
You need to know about the well. Our well is 20 feet deep and is a dug well. We have the water tested annually and have all the paper work to show water passes.
Also there is a septic tank which should always be empied and inspected before a property is sold and we have had that done with receipts and paperwork.
We have also just installed a brand new pressure tank and pump.
The house is heated with oil, new tanks are installed outside. We had a brand new tank installed and inspected in 2011.
The house was built in 1889 and an addition put on in mid 80s. There is a full basement on the addition (unfinished), also has a seperate entrance & with 6.5 foot ceilings and 5.5 ceiling in the original house with cement floors & wood room.
